What to Expect

  • A typical Sunday includes music, prayer, and a practical message from the Bible. Services run between 75-90 minutes with a short intermission before the teaching where we dismiss the kids to a program designed just for kids, and we refresh our coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Guests and friends are alway welcome to come and check the place out, no strings attached.

  • Sometimes. We’ve got a huge team of musicians, and we do love to sing.

  • No. Giving is something our regular attendees choose to do. If you're visiting, there's no expectation or pressure to give.

  • Come as you are! Seriously. You'll see people in everything from jeans and sneakers to socks and sandals. There's no dress code.

FAITH QUESTIONS

  • Pathway exists as a place for people to explore the teachings of Jesus Christ for the stuff of real life. Whether you've grown up in church or you're just starting to ask questions about faith, we think you’re going to find Pathway helpful and hopeful.

  • Pathway is part of a family of churches called the BeinChrist, a growing faith community that is following Jesus, sharing his message and extending his peace around the world.. For those of you who like reading the manual, you can find out more about us here.

  • Yes, absolutely. Many people at Pathway are exploring, questioning, or unsure what they believe, and that’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out to walk through the door; you can move at your own pace. Honestly, we’re all still figuring things out too.

  • There are a lot of great churches in Kitchener. (and we’re told there are some not so great ones too…) At Pathway we work hard to be a place where people can explore the teachings of Jesus at the intersections of real life. We’re friendly cause we love to make new friends. Informal cause we like people as they are not as they pretend to be. And we love partnering with the good people around us to serve our neighbours and people in need. You might have met some of us at the Community Events we help support at country hills Community Centre, or seen us at the Coldest Night of the Year in support of Ray of Hope. We do lots of stuff like that cause we believe loving your neighbour (especially those in need) is part of what it means to follow Jesus. And we’re working on that.
