The Day of Love and Last Words
Most of us intend to serve humbly. We intend to love without conditions. And then the moment arrives, and we find out who we actually are.
In John 13, with hours left before the cross, Jesus didn't give a speech. He picked up a towel and washed feet. Including the feet of the man he knew would betray him. Including the feet of the man he knew would deny him three times before sunrise.
