Ministry to one another often occurs within community. Many at Pathway are being built up in their faith, are encouraged to ask the bigger questions of life, and are walked along side of as they follow hard after Christ. All this has been made possible by our HOME groups.
The 'H.O.M.E.' in Pathway's HOME Groups means Homes Open for Ministry and Encouragement.
It is Pathway's goal that our HOME groups...
- Provide an atmosphere of a small community. Homes are a place were people can safely share and be supported through prayer, encouragement and diligent care.
- Focus on applying scripture. Most people's Christian walk lags behind their knowledge.
- Are open to any who wouldn't risk entering a church. The motto: Show and tell. Show the gospel and then tell the Good News.
- Help to develop spiritual gifts, talents and passions. On-going training develops leaders who mentor others.
- Are not a new idea - Jesus worked with a small group of twelve.
In our HOME groups our congregational family meet regularly to disciple, to love, to equip, and to encourage one another.
